A. Gail (Shawver) Clark, age 61, of Zionsville, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016, after fighting neuroendocrine cancer.
Gail was born Dec. 3, 1954, to Philip and Carolyn Shawver. She graduated from Danville High School in 1973 before attending Butler University, where she received a B.S. in Pharmacy in 1982. Gail was enjoying retirement after working 31 years as a pharmacist for IU Health, leaving in 2014. She enjoyed gardening, walks through the Village, and spending time with her family and good friends.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Dan; three lovely daughters, Abigail (Reid) Klaehn of Zionsville, Karen Clark of Deerfield Beach, Florida, and Chloe Clark of Nashville, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Rosalind Gail Klaehn; father, Philip (Anita) Shawver of Plainfield; sister, Betsy (Scott) Friedenberg of Greenfield; three sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; six nieces; and a nephew.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 6, at the Zionsville United Methodist Church, 9644 Whitestown Road, Zionsville. Visitation will occur for two hours, beginning at 10 a.m., followed by a short service at noon.
