Andrew Ludwig Truden, 91, of Zionsville, formerly of Indianapolis, died Nov. 15, 2011.. He was born to the late Mathias and Agnes (Baraga) Truden on Oct. 5, 1920, in Cleveland, Ohio. Andrew attended East Technical High School and Fenn College in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy who served in WWII as a fire controlman. Andrew married Jean Ruth LaPorte on March 14, 1942.. Andrew was a certified licensed underwriter with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for 34 years. He was a former member of St. Jude Catholic Church and a third and fourth Degree Knight of Columbus. He was also active in Lions Club and the German-American Club. He loved dancing with his lovely wife Jean.. Andrew is survived by his wife Jean Truden; his children Kathe (Bob) Stowe, Fred (Colleen) Truden, Andrea (Tony) Kriech, and Tom (Kathryn) Truden; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.. Services were Friday, Nov. 18, at Flanner and Buchanan Zionsville.
