Charles E. Farkas, Jr.
Charles E. Farkas, Jr., 91 of Atlanta, formerly of Zionsville, died Feb. 8, 2016. Mr. Farkas was born Nov. 2, 1924, in South Bend, and was the son of the now late Charles E. and Barbara Farkas.
He graduated from Franklin College and served in The U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and The Korean Conflict. Prior to retirement, Mr. Farkas worked as an ombudsman for the Office of The Aging in Indiana. Mr. Farkas is survived by his wife of 67 years, LuAnn Q. Farkas; son and daughter-in-law, William C. and Patricia Farkas; grandchildren Jason Farkas, Coleen Richardson, Terri Reade; and sister, Joan Jordan.
A memorial service will take place at a later date in Mitchell, Indiana.
