Eldon “Eldie” Joseph Weber, 68, passed away May 9, 2012.. Eldie was born in St. Donatus, Iowa on Dec. 16, 1943, to Neil and Rose Weber. In 1973, Eldie started Weber Concrete in Dubuque. He expanded his business to Indianapolis in 1988 where it has expanded and flourished. He opened Starlite Leasing in 1990 and in 2006 fulfilled his lifelong dream by creating Blue Star Redi Mix Co. He was a member of BAGL, IRMCA, CFA and BAGI.. Eldie was best known for both his passion for his life’s work and for his pride and devotion to his family.. He will be forever missed by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Bildad; his mother, Rose; eight children, Jeff (Jennifer) Weber, Randy (Allison) Weber, Jodi Weber, Jill (Tim) Junglut, Mike (Jan) Weber, Greg (Ashlee) Weber, Jo Ann (Troy) Clemen and Rose Weber; brothers, Robert “Bobby” Weber, Gary (Sharon) Weber; sisters, Mary Ann (Jim) Klein, Diane (Roger) Michels, Connie (Steve) Schlegel; and sister-in-law, Sue Weber.. Eldie was preceded in death by his beloved father, Neil, and his brother, Richard.. A wake was Saturday, May 12, at Leonard Funeral Home and Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, Dubuque, Iowa. A wake was at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, Zionsville on Monday, May 14. Funeral services were Tuesday, May 15, at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church.
