Jack W. Hendryx, 80, passed away Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, in Ocala, Florida.
He was born in Arkansas City, Kansas, Nov. 22, 1935. He was the third child born to Earl Hendryx and Dorothy (West) Hendryx.
He is survived by his wife Heide (Wonnell), whom he married on Sept. 27, 1986; children Jack W. Hendryx Jr., of Winter Park, Florida, Dan (Shelly) Hendryx of Fairhope, Alabama, and Mark (Wendy), of Jupiter, Florida; granddaughters Heidi Lamb of Diamondale, Michigan; great-grandchildren Evie and Brody; granddaughters Kennedy, Sidney Jane and Demi; grandson Vance; sisters Wilda Rodibaugh of Lafayette and Nancy Pipkin of Zionsville; and step-son Rob Wonnell of Noblesville.
Jack graduated from Zionsville High School in 1953, being a member of the basketball team winning the Regional held in Lafayette.
He is a graduate of the University of Illinois in Champaign.
