Maggie Sue Ames, of Zionsville, went to heaven Dec. 26, 2014.. She was born July 25, 1931, in the "Cotton Patch" in Crittenden County in western Kentucky. Ames was married to Eddie M. Ames, who preceded her in death on Aug. 7, 2014. They were married more than 64 years and raised their family in Zionsville since 1962.. Ames was a devoted mother to Micah Y. Ames Stuckey, Lisa R. Ames Berger and Suzanna Ames-Kendall. She was an active member for many years at Zionsville Christian Church and worked part time at Lazarus later in life.. Survivors include her daughters and their families: Micah (John Stuckey), of Milton, Lisa (Thomas Berger), of Indianapolis, and Suzanna (Scott Kendall), of Carmel; granddaughters, Sarah Stuckey Boyd (Chad), of New Lisbon, and Courtney L. Kendall, of St. Petersburg, Florida; and grandsons, Michael E. Stuckey (Andrea Haler), of Milton, Lucas Ames Martin (Rebeccah Willis), of Indianapolis, Zachary (Amber Goffinet), of Greenwood, Clayton S. Kendall, of Indianapolis, and Alexander Ames Kendall (Carmel). She was known as "Mimi" to these loved ones and to nine great-grandchildren.. Ames loved her family, her best friend, Jan Kouns, and the Lord. Her daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will miss her every day.. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 N. Michigan Road. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service..
