Nancy Ann McCormick Marosevic, 52, of Zionsville passed away on March 19, 2016.
Born on June 24, 1963 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Wendell Kenneth and Lois Evelyn McCormick. Nancy graduated from Benton Central High School in 1981 and received a nursing degree from Ball State University in 1986. Nancy worked as a nurse for St. Vincent Hospital in their cardiac care unit for many years. On September 7, 1991 Nancy was united in marriage to Vjekoslav “Lou” Marosevic. Shortly after being married, Nancy was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and was unable to continue her work as a nurse. She then volunteered for The Eiteljorg Museum and the Zionsville Presbyterian Church where she was a member. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends, scrapbooking, crossword puzzles, and reading. She lived at home in the company of her dog Chief and cat Missy before becoming a resident of Kindred in the summer of 2014.
Nancy is survived by her mother, sisters, Lana (Ed) Higginbotham of Georgia, Susan (Gerry) Ewoldt of Virginia, and Kathleen (William) Carter of Iowa, mother-in-law, Rose Marosevic, sister-in-law, Caroline (Mark) Farrant, five nephews, friends Steve and Kay Wright, along with many others. She is preceded in death by her husband and father.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday March 26th, 2:00pm at Zionsville Presbyterian Church in the chapel, with a reception to follow in the gathering space. Cremation services entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan- Zionsville.
