Paula Chandler, of Phoenix, Arizona, died Sunday, Aug. 20 in her home. Born in 1941 in Lebanon, Paula came from generations of family in the Zionsville area.
Paula enjoyed going to movies, doing her "brain teasers" online, spending time with friends and family, and had a beautiful smile that could light up a room.
Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Chandler; son, Keith Chandler; and grandson, James Zablocki. She is survived by her daughters, Terri Royse (Ron), Patsy Collier (Rich); grandsons Chris Zablocki, Keith Zablocki (Courtney), Nick Collier, Caleb Collier, Glen Collier; and great-grandchildren Jameson Zablocki and Jaycee Zablocki; as well as her sisters Betty Grizzle, Pat Coggins and Lella McLemore, four nieces and eight nephews, all of whom brought great joy to her life.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Home for Friendless Animals, 7649 CR 200 S., Waynetown, IN 47990. A celebration of Paula's life will be held on Friday, Sept. 8, 4 to 8 p.m. at Royal Run Clubhouse, 6514 Royal Run Blvd.
