Rosemary A. Lupinski, 97, passed from this life to the next on Oct. 6, 2017 after a long decline.
She was born Dec. 14, 1919 to Edward Boecher and Bernardine (Bellmer) Boecher in Chicago, Illinois.
Rosemary was one of nine children. She grew up in Chicago and married Lucian Lupinski in 1955. They moved to Peoria, Illinois in 1960 and eventually to Indianapolis in 1974.
Rosemary was a homemaker for most of her married life but started a late-in-life career with the State Employment Security Division in the late 1970's, retiring in 1984.
She was active in the churches she attended, particularly St. Bernard's in Peoria, Illinois and St. Gabriel's in Indianapolis. She enjoyed good food and good wine and was an excellent cook, seamstress and knitter.
Rosemary is survived by her son, Lucian Jr. (Peg); grandchildren, Lucian William, Alex, Joey, Teddy, and Lydia; sister, Martha Hermann, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling for Rosemary Lupinski will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12 at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 1870 W. Oak St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 13 at the church, followed by interment in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
